Detour

Detour generates a new spatial configuration for the circulation of SESC-Pinheiros’ third floor. It consists of a ramp that silently fuses the circulation and exhibition spaces, taking the visitor inside the gallery. The slight inclination of the ramp moves through the panels, dividing the space within the room and separating it from the corridor. 

Inside the gallery, the space is empty. One has the strange sensation that everything is both the same as it was and that things have never been so out of place.
